Damian Cotter

Assistant Coach, Chicago Bulls

 

Damian Cotter has been a member of the Head Coach Billy Donovan’s Bulls coaching staff since 2020.  Prior to the Bulls, Cotter served as Head Coach of the Bulls G-League affiliate, the Windy City Bulls, and Assistant Coach with the G-Leagues Capital City Go-Go (Washington) and Long Island Nets (Brooklyn).  Before moving to North America, Coach Cotter served as Head Coach with the Australian NBL’s Sydney Kings and worked with the national team programs of both Australia and Sri Lanka.

Cassie Lastivka

Assistant Coach/Recruiting Coordinator, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Women’s Basketball

 

Cassie Lastivka is currently in her first season on staff as an assistant coach with the UW-Milwaukee Panthers Women’s Basketball Team.  Lastivka came to Milwaukee after spending the past two seasons at Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio. While on the staff with the Polar Bears, Lastivka helped lead the team to 44 wins over two seasons, earning trips to the NCAA Division III Championship in each of her two seasons, including a Sweet 16 appearance in 2023.  During her time at Ohio Northern, Lastivka was a part of back-to-back Coaching Staffs of the Year.  She assisted in practice planning, player development, and game day preparation while also assisting in scouting reports, recruiting, and film breakdown.

Ryan Pannone

Assistant Coach, University of Alabama

 

Ryan Pannone is currently in his second season at Alabama, after previously serving as an assistant coach with the New Orleans Pelicans as well as the head coach of the Pelicans' G League affiliate, the Birmingham Squadron.  Pannone has also coached at all levels across the globe, serving as an assistant coach in the professional ranks in Angola, China, Germany, Korea and Slovakia including leading Hapoel Jerusalem to the Israeli championship and advancing them to the Euro Cup semifinals

Scott Morrison

Assistant Coach, Utah Jazz

 

Scott Morrison, a native of Morell, Prince Edward Island, is in his second year as an Assistant Coach with the Utah Jazz.  Prior to the Jazz, Coach Morrison served as Head Coach of the Jazz’s G-League team, the Salt Lake City Stars.  Prior to his time in Utah, Morrison spent eight seasons in the Boston Celtics organization, four with the Celtics and four with their G-League affiliate, the Maine Red-Claws.  Before moving to the pro level, Coach Morrison had an incredibly successful run as Head Coach of the Lakehead Wolves (OUA), turning the program into perennial OAU and national contenders.  Morrison has also worked with various Canada Basketball national teams.

Basketball Immersion

Chris Oliver

Chris Oliver is the founder of Basketball Immersion, The Basketball Podcast, and Immersion Videos.  An expert in basketball decision training, he coaches, trains, and mentors coaches to maximize their players’ potential and enjoyment of practices and games. What he is most passionate about in his work is sharing evidence-based coaching ideas that can stimulate your coaching to get better results. 

Chris currently works in leading basketball development at Sierra Canyon and is a consultant for a number of NCAA D1 programs. Chris was head coach at the University of Windsor where he won over 300 games and compiled a .750 winning percentage.

Coaching U

Brendan Sur

Brendan Suhr is a founder of Coaching U, which is regarded as the North American leader for basketball coaching resources, development, and in-person learning. 

Prior to founding Coaching U, Coach Suhr spent over 25 years in the NBA, winning championships in 1989 and 1990 with the Detroit Pistons as Chuck Daley’s lead Assistant.  Brendan also joined Coach Daley’s staff with the USA Men’s Olympic team at the 1992 Olympics, winning Gold with the ‘Dream Team’.

Canada Basketball

Michael Meeks

A former professional basketball player and a member of the Canadian Men's 2000 Olympic Team in Sydney, Australia, Coach Meeks is currently Canada Basketball’s Assistant General Manager, Men's Basketball Operations. 

His role includes involvement in both the Senior Men’s National Team, having participated in the 2024 Paris Olympics, as well as overseeing the Canadian Age Group National teams (U16-U19) participating in the FIBA America’s Tournaments (U16/U18) and FIBA World Cups (U17/U19).

Stetson University

Donnie Jones

Donnie Jones is currently the men's head basketball coach at Stetson University. This past season led Stetson University to the ASUN conference championship and its first NCAA Tourney appearance in the 53 year history of the school.

Prior to Stetson, Jones served as the head coach of the UCF Knights men's basketball team from 2010 to 2016 and at Marshall from 2007 to 2010.  Prior to Marshall, Coach Jones spent 11 years as a member of Billy Donovan’s staff at the University of Florida where he was part of their 2006 & 2007 back-to-back national championships.

Phil Beckner

Phil Beckner is nationally known for his work as a high-performance consultant with elite athletes, sports teams and business organizations to enhance performance professionally and increase performance. Phil spent over 10 years coaching at the highest levels of college basketball. He is most recognized for his developmental success with current NBA All-Star Damian Lillard, his time spent coaching with USA Basketball's Junior National Program, and being one of the most sought after development coaches for current NBA players.

PLEASE REGISTER BEFORE THE DEADLINE AS REGISTRATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AT THE DOOR
In accordance with Basketball BC policy, all participants must be preregistered (for the correct tryout/clinic/program) to attend each specific Basketball BC tryout/clinic/program.  

PLEASE SELECT THE CORRECT REGISTRATION
A registration list for each specific tryout/clinic/program will be used to confirm the participants.  Only those individuals on each specific registration list will be allowed to participate.  Basketball BC is not responsible for any user errors which may result in an individual being excluded from participating in the tryout/clinic/program if the individual is not on the registration list.  

REGISTRATIONS ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE
If the individual is registered for the wrong tryout/clinic/program, the individual will need to be registered for the correct tryout/clinic/program before the stated registration deadline.  Please send a refund request for the original registration to Basketball BC.  An administration fee will be charged in accordance with our Refund Policy.

EMAIL CONFIRMATION
Upon successful completion of the registration (and payment), an email confirmation will be sent to the Account Holder (Parent if account is for a child).  The email may be sent to a "junk" folder depending on the email filter - please check that the junk folder is not set to "auto delete".  If you do not receive or cannot find the email in the junk folder, contact Basketball BC to confirm that the individual is registered for the tryout/clinic/program.
