2027 Travel Teams

As an extension of our Academy program and in conjunction with our Team BC program we will again be having travel teams in 2027. It is intended as an optional, supplementary opportunity for female athletes seeking additional elite-level competition and to help support players involved in both our Academy programs and Provincial Team BC program.

We will be offering teams at the U15 and U16/17 age groups.

The schedule will offer a combination of training and competition – see schedule.

The training weekends and competitions will not conflict with the provincial team program. The purpose and structure of the travel team program is to work in conjunction with the provincial team

Travel team coaching staff will be selected from our High-Performance coaching staff (Academy and Provincial Team).

Open tryout camp for non-Academy athletes will occur on Sunday, January 3, 2027

Selection Camp for Academy athletes and selected arhletes from the Open Tryout will occur on Sunday, February 7, 2027.

Travel Team Schedule

Saturdays: 10am to Noon and 1pm to 3:30pm
Sundays: 9am to Noon

These times are designed to help with travel to and from the LEC for out of town athletes

Fee will not be adjusted for partial participation

MEMBERSHIP (September 1 to August 31)
Basketball BC programs require Basketball BC and Canada Basketball memberships. The memberships are non refundable.
If the athlete does not have the required memberships, the system will add the fees to the registration.

In accordance with Basketball BC policy, all participants must be preregistered (for the correct tryout/clinic/program) to attend each specific Basketball BC tryout/clinic/program.

PLEASE SELECT THE CORRECT REGISTRATION
A registration list for each specific tryout/clinic/program will be used to confirm the participants. Only those individuals on each specific registration list will be allowed to participate. Basketball BC is not responsible for any user errors which may result in an individual being excluded from participating in the tryout/clinic/program if the individual is not on the registration list.
