Basketball BC is proud to partner with Meadow Park Basketball to offer an evening of high quality basketball training and development. Join coach Marshall Cho and Basketball BC High Performance Coaches for a unique opportunity to grow your game.

Both sessions are Co-Ed.

Fee: $60 + GST per athlete (requires a 2026-27 Basketball BC Athlete Memebership)

Coach Marshall Cho

Marshall Cho is a highly respected coach, educator, and community builder whose basketball journey has spanned North America, Africa, and Asia. He has coached at the youth, high school, collegiate, and international levels, including roles with the University of Portland, Lake Oswego High School, Nike Hoop Summit, USA Basketball, and Basketball Without Borders Africa. Known for his passion for player development and community engagement, Cho brings a unique global perspective to coaching and leadership.

NexGen Athlete Development Camps

Basketball BC is hosting a series of athlete development camps in 2026.  

The following camps are open to boys and girls in grades 6-8 (born 2012-2014) and grades 9-12 (born in 2008-2011) or 9-11 (born in 2009-2011):

  • Pick and Roll Camp - work with coaches to develop your skill set playing out of ball screens
  • Finishing School Camp - build up your toolbox and understand the why and when of applying different finishes and reads based off the defense 
  • Shooting Camp - build, and expand on, a solid foundation to become a knock down shooter
  • Playmaker Academy - work to understand the why behind the play and the skills and processes needed to make the right play at the right time
  • Complete Player Camp - ppportunity for players to review and continue to build all facets of their game.  Camp includes ball handling, shooting, finishing, and individual defensive fundamentals

Each camp is limited to 30 participants.  

Fee: $60 (+ GST)

Ignite development camps - CANCELLED

As part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen long-term athlete development across the province, Basketball BC is expanding our grassroots development pathway programming opportunities to U10-U12 athletes. 

Ignite Camp sessions are co-ed and will focus on:

  • Fundamental skill development
  • Decision-making through small-sided games (SSG)
  • Injury prevention and movement education

Our goal is to make these sessions accessible, inclusive, and development-focused while continuing to grow the game throughout British Columbia

PLEASE REGISTER BEFORE THE DEADLINE AS REGISTRATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AT THE DOOR
In accordance with Basketball BC policy, all participants must be preregistered (for the correct tryout/clinic/program) to attend each specific Basketball BC tryout/clinic/program.  

PLEASE SELECT THE CORRECT REGISTRATION
A registration list for each specific tryout/clinic/program will be used to confirm the participants.  Only those individuals on each specific registration list will be allowed to participate.  Basketball BC is not responsible for any user errors which may result in an individual being excluded from participating in the tryout/clinic/program if the individual is not on the registration list.

If the individual is registered for the wrong tryout/clinic/program, please email Basketball BC.
