ONTARIO AND NOVA SCOTIA CROWNED BOY'S 15U/17U NATIONAL CHAMPIONS


KAMLOOPS, B.C. (August 11, 2018) - The 15U and 17U Boy's National Championships concluded in Kamloops tonight, with Ontario earning the 15U championship over Quebec, 84-65, and Team Nova Scotia winning the 17U Championship over Quebec 98-90.

Sheldon Waithe of Team Quebec led all scorers in their game against Ontario, playing a team high 39 minutes and putting up 23 points along with his 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal.  On Team Ontario, the leading scorer was DJ Jackson who finished with a double double at 30 points and 13 rebounds, plus 2 assists and 1 steal.  He was the only player to score 30 or more points in the game.
