Basketball BC’s Board of Directors are pleased to announce Shawn Dheensaw has been appointed as the Executive Director. Shawn was initially appointed as the Interim Executive Director on May 7, 2022.

Shawn will continue to apply his basketball knowledge with his extensive range of management abilities to advance the sport of basketball throughout the province.

Shawn stated” I look forward to carrying on developing Basketball BC’s network in basketball circles and relationship building with all our stakeholders. My goal remains to demonstrate the leadership necessary to work in a cooperative basketball environment to mobilize and manage our diverse stakeholders in pursuit of common goals.”

President of Basketball BC, Stu Graham stated, “We are pleased to have Shawn continue his work and passion from the last six month for the growth of our game in his role as Executive Director.”
