Basketball BC Welcomes Four New Members to the Board of Directors
Basketball BC is pleased to announce the election of four new members to its Board of Directors: Brooke Briscoe, Jade Christie, Geordie Macdonald, and Jon Mara. The new Directors were voted onto the Board during the Basketball BC Annual General Meeting held on August 19, 2025.
“These individuals bring a wide range of experience, expertise, and passion for the game that will strengthen our organization and help drive the growth of basketball across British Columbia,” said Stu Graham, President of Basketball BC. “We are excited to welcome Brooke, Jade, Geordie, and Jon to the Board and look forward to the leadership and perspective they will bring.”
Basketball BC also extends its sincere appreciation to Keven Kaardal and John Boccabella for their many years of dedicated service as members of the Board of Directors. Both have made significant contributions to the development and advancement of basketball in the province.
“We are grateful to Keven and John for their leadership and commitment to our sport,” added Graham. “Their impact has been felt across our basketball community, and we thank them for their invaluable service.”
Basketball BC remains committed to supporting athletes, coaches, officials, and volunteers across the province, and is confident that the new Board members will play a key role in advancing this mission.

We are seeking strategic thinkers who are aligned with our mission, values, and purpose. Directors play a vital governance role in supporting the strategic direction of the organization and may serve a one-year or three-year term.
