Basketball BC Online Registration

•  if you are new to the system, select 'NO' in response to the question "Are you are a returning player/coach?"  An access code will be emailed to you in the registration confirmation.  Please keep this access code for any future program registration.  If you are a returning user, an access code was emailed to you in a previous registration confirmation.  See Access Code below if you can't find or do not know your access code.
•  enter the required information
•  Save and Proceed to Step 2 

•  choose the program
•  Save and Proceed to Step 3

•  review personal information entered in Step 1 - click on any Step tab to go back to that page
•  check that the correct program was selected in Step 2  
•  read waivers and policies
•  "opt in" if you want to receive email communication from Basketball BC.  If you do not consent but later change your mind, you can subscribe using the instructions on the confirmation email.  Basketball BC cannot add anyone to the email subscription list.  
•  acknowledge reading waivers/policies and provide consent for program participation by providing name where indicated on page
•  Save and Proceed to Step 4

•  confirm item(s) listed under Programs and Products
•  enter your credit card information
•  Submit Payments

​Registration is complete once payment is processed.  A registration payment confirmation is sent by email from the registration system. 

ONLINE REGISTRATION PREPARATION

To complete the Team Registration, you will need the following information for your coach(es) and players:

•   first name
•   last name
•   DOB
•   Gender
•  phone number (coaches only)
•   postal code
•   email address

Please ensure that the first name, last name, and DOB are accurate.  If there is an existing athlete/coach account, this information is used to find the account.

Downloadable roster form to help you gather player information. Rosters do not need to be submitted to Basketball BC.

TEAM REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

•  Event Information
  •  provides event information
  •  enter the information or choose from the dropdown (where required)
•  Coaching Staff - when you enter the first name, last name, and DOB (YYYY-MM-DD format or use the calendar – make sure you check the year if you use the calendar), you will get a system popup:
  •  No Matching Participant Record Found – the system did not find a participant match
    •  click OK and enter the remaining required information
  •  One Matching Participant Record Found – the system found a participant match
    •  click OK if this is the correct person
    •  the system will auto fill some of the required fields (DO NOT CHANGE ANY OF THE AUTO FILLED INFORMATION)
    •  enter any missing information
  •  Multiple Matching Participants Records Found – the system found more than one participant match
    •  select the correct person and click OK
    •  the system will auto fill some of the required fields (DO NOT CHANGE ANY OF THE AUTO FILLED INFORMATION)
    •  enter any missing information
•  Team Contact information – the team contact can be coaching or non-coaching staff – for coaching staff, choose from the dropdown
•  Player Information – see Coaching Staff above
•  Program Information - select the program/event
•  Policies - read waivers and policies
  •  acknowledge reading waivers/policies and provide consent by providing name where indicated on page
•  "opt in" if you want to receive email communication from Basketball BC.  If you do not consent but later change your mind, you can subscribe using the instructions on the confirmation email.  Basketball BC cannot add anyone to the email subscription list.  
•  Note: PLAYERS AND STAFF REGISTERED TO THIS TEAM WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE OPTED IN TO RECEIVE EMAIL COMMUNICATION FROM BASKETBALL BC – you as the team contact are providing consent to this on their behalf.
•  When all required information has been entered, click Submit Team Registration
•  Confirm Team Info – confirm information entered and event/program selected
  •  to correct any information or event/program selected – click “back arrow” on your browser to go to the previous page
  •  if information and event/program selected is correct – click Confirm
•  Payment – enter your credit card information - click Submit 

​Registration is complete once payment is processed.  A registration payment confirmation is sent by email from the registration system.

To add a player or coach to a team:

•  Login to account (head coach or main contact – person who registered the team) 
•  Click on the REGISTRATION INFO tab
•  Find the team
•  Click on EDIT TEAM INFORMATION
•  Enter the player or coach first name, last name, and DOB in the boxes at the bottom of the player/coach listing using the TAB key to move to the next box – DOB format is YYYY-MM-DD or use the calendar – after the DOB entry, you will get a popup box:
  •  No Matching Participant Record Found – the system did not find a participant match
    •  click OK and enter the remaining required information
  •  One Matching Participant Record Found – the system found a participant match
    •  click OK if this is the correct person
    •  the system will auto fill some of the required fields (DO NOT CHANGE ANY OF THE AUTO FILLED INFORMATION)
  •  Multiple Matching Participants Records Found – the system found more than one participant match
    •  select the correct person and click OK
    •  the system will auto fill some of the required fields (DO NOT CHANGE ANY OF THE AUTO FILLED INFORMATION)
  •  Click ADD PLAYER/COACH

You will only be charged for coaches and players who do not have the required Basketball BC Coach or Athlete membership in the system providing the information (first name, last name, DOB, and email address) matches the existing account.

The access code is the password to your (or your child's) account.  To access the account, you must provide the access code when logging in.

If you do not know your access code, click on "What's my access code?" below the access code box and follow the instructions for access code retrieval.  The access code will be emailed to you.  Once you have the access code, you can complete the registration. 
NOTE: receipt of the email for the access code is not a program confirmation email

Payment is by credit card only.
Cheque/cash payments will not be accepted.

Upon successful completion of the registration (and payment), an email confirmation will be sent to the Account Holder (Parent if account is for a child).
The email may be sent to a "junk" folder depending on the email filter.  To ensure receipt of the email confirmation, please check that the junk folder is not set to "auto delete".  If you do not receive or cannot find the email in the junk folder, contact Basketball BC.

Basketball BC programs require a Basketball BC membership.  The membership will be added to the program/event registration if required.  You do not have to purchase a membership separately.  

Please ensure that the first name, last name, DOB, and email address are accurate.  This information is used by the system to check for the membership transaction required for the registration.

To access your or (your child's) Goalline registration account:

•  click on Goalline registration account above
•  enter your or (child's) name, birthdate and access code
•  if you do not know your access code, click on "What's my access code?" below the access code box and follow the instructions for access code retrieval

2. Email Basketball BC Information to request a refund.  A 10% administration fee will be charged per the Basketball BC Refund Policy
