MEMBERSHIP SEASON

Basketball BC is changing its membership season.    

Effective September 1, 2023, Basketball BC is moving its membership season to September 1 – August 31.  

To bridge the membership period to August 31, 2023, the membership fees will be adjusted for a partial membership season.

MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES

Basketball BC has 3 categories of membership: 

 

FULL MEMBERSHIPS – VOTING

• BASKETBALL BC COACH MEMBERSHIP - $7.50 per coach for partial season to August 31, 2023
  • A Basketball BC Coach membership is required for all Basketball BC coach programs/clinics and team events.
  • The membership due is assessed and charged with the program/clinic and/or event registration.  It does not have to be purchased individually
  • A Basketball BC Coach membership is only charged for the first registration as the system will recognize the Basketball BC Coach Membership for any subsequent coach registrations within the membership season if the same registration account is used.

  • Basketball BC Coach Membership Benefits

 

• ​​BASKETBALL BC GENERAL MEMBERSHIP - $7.50 per person for partial season to August 31, 2023
  • ​A Basketball BC General Membership is for supporters of Basketball BC.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP – VOTING

•  LOCAL BASKETBALL OFFICIALS ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIP 

 

ATHLETE PROGRAM MEMBERSHIP – NON-VOTING 

•  BASKETBALL BC ATHLETE MEMBERSHIP - $7.50 per athlete for partial season to August 31, 2023
  • A Basketball BC Athlete membership is required for all Basketball BC athlete program/clinics and team events.
  • The membership due is assessed and charged with the program/clinic and/or event registration.  It does not have to be purchased individually. 
  • A Basketball BC Athlete membership is only charged for the first registration as the system will recognize the Basketball BC Athlete Membership for any subsequent athlete registrations within the membership season if the same registration account is used.
  • Basketball BC Athlete Membership Benefits 

 

• CLUB MEMBERSHIP – Dues are determined by the club programming
