NexGen Development Camps

Basketball BC is hosting a series of player development camps this fall to help prepare players for success in the school and club seasons.  Camps are open to boys and girls in grades 6-8 (born 2012-2014).  

Pick and Roll Camp - work with coaches to develop your skill set playing out of ball screens

Offensive Concepts Camp - build your understanding of and skills necessary to play out of common offensive actions 

Finishing School Camp - build up your toolbox and understand the why and when of applying different finishes and reads based off the defense 

Shooting Camp - build, and expand on, a solid foundation to become a knock down shooter

Basketball IQ and Decision Making Camp - work to understand the why behind the play and the skills and processes needed to make the right play at the right time

 

Each camp is limited to 30 participants so register early.  To register for a camp, see Program Registration below.

Fee: $60 (GST exempt)

Pick and Roll Game Camp

Players will work with High Performance staff to develop their understanding and skill set in ball screen actions; using and setting screens, decision making out of screen actions, and creating scoring opportunities for themselves and teammates.

 
Finishing School

High Performance coaches will work with players to not just understand the ‘how’ of different finishing footwork and moves, but also build their understanding of the when and why of using different finishes to score effectively in game situations.

 
Shooting Camp

Players will not only review the building blocks of a consistent and successful shooting but will also focus on footwork as well as getting to and making shots out of game actions and situations.

Payment is by valid bank credit card only.  This registration system does not accept debit cards or pre-loaded credit cards.

PLEASE REGISTER BEFORE THE DEADLINE AS REGISTRATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AT THE DOOR
In accordance with Basketball BC policy, all participants must be preregistered (for the correct tryout/clinic/program) to attend each specific Basketball BC tryout/clinic/program.  

PLEASE SELECT THE CORRECT REGISTRATION
A registration list for each specific tryout/clinic/program will be used to confirm the participants.  Only those individuals on each specific registration list will be allowed to participate.  Basketball BC is not responsible for any user errors which may result in an individual being excluded from participating in the tryout/clinic/program if the individual is not on the registration list.

REGISTRATIONS ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE
If the individual is registered for the wrong tryout/clinic/program, the individual will need to be registered for the correct tryout/clinic/program before the stated registration deadline.  Please send a refund request for the original registration to Basketball BC.  An administration fee will be charged in accordance with our Refund Policy.

 

IF THE REGISTRATION (AND PAYMENT) IS COMPLETED SUCCESSFULLY, there will be a REGISTRATION COMPLETE! MESSAGE after submitting the credit card information AND AN EMAIL CONFIRMATION WILL BE SENT TO THE ACCOUNT HOLDER (Parent if account is for a child).  The email may be sent to a "junk" folder depending on the email filter - please check that the junk folder is not set to "auto delete".

IF THERE IS A BLANK SCREEN after submitting the credit card information AND THE EMAIL CONFIRMATION IS NOT RECEIVED, the REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT MAY NOT HAVE COMPLETED.  PLEASE CONTACT BASKETBALL BC TO CONFIRM THE REGISTRATION STATUS.
