March 29th, 2021Legendary Coach Rich Goulet Passes Away

Basketball BC mourns the passing of long time High School and Basketball BC Elite Program coach Rich Goulet. President Stu Graham on behalf of the Board, BBC members, staff and 100’s of former players are saddened by the loss of a man who was as influential as any one individual could be in shaping the game in this province.

From Provincial Championships to the coaching of some of the greatest basketball players produced in this country, including NBA players Steve Nash, Kelly Olynyk and Rob Sacre. Rich made and left an indelible mark on the basketball landscape!

Our thoughts go out to Coach Goulet's family and friends. Rest in Peace, Rich.
