January 29th, 2026Call A Foul on Cancer - The Pink Whistle Campaign is On!
The teams have warmed up, the anthem has been sung, and now it's GO TIME !!
This Friday the Basketball Referees in BC will swap out their black whistles and black lanyards (and in some cases Grey Referee jerseys), into Pink Whistles, Pink Lanyards and Pink Striped shirts. They officially kick off their 17th season of awareness and fundraising for the BC Cancer Foundation.
So far they've reached about $10,000 leading up to their kick off due to some truly enthusiastic donors.
