Supercamps (Provincial Team Selection)

Proof of vaccination is a requirement for participation on any of our provincial teams (as it is required for National Championships and Canada Summer Games).

If selected to a provincial team, the athlete would need to provide proof of vaccination to secure their selection.

For 2022: 
U17/U18 Girls - athletes born between 2004 and 2006 
U18 Boys - athletes born between 2004 and 2005 
U17 Boys - athletes born between 2005 and 2006
U15 Girls and Boys - athletes born between 2007 and 2008

U18 teams will only be selected for the 2022 Canada Summer Games

The Supercamp features instruction, competition, and player evaluation by the coaches and the Provincial Team selection committee in attendance at the camp. In addition, participants have an opportunity to compete alongside the top players from around the provinces.

The U17/U18 Girls, U17 boys, and U18 boys Supercamps are open tryouts - see online registration link below. 

The U15 Supercamp is by "invitation only" from participation/registration in a U15 REGIONAL ID CAMPNOTE: Basketball BC may invite some identified athletes directly to the U15 Supercamp. 
The U15 Supercamp invitation with registration/payment information will be sent through the registration system by email after the Regional ID Camp is completed. 
NOTE: the 
email may be sent to a "junk" folder depending on one's email filter.  Please check that the junk folder is not set to "auto delete". 

The Supercamp includes:
  • a two-day camp on Friday and Saturday; and
  • a Provincial Team Selection camp on Sunday for athletes selected from the Friday and Saturday tryout sessions  

To be considered for Provincial Team selection, participants MUST attend the Friday and Saturday Supercamp sessions*.
* Athletes attending national team tryouts must receive approval from Basketball BC to attend the provincial Team Selection camp only - see program contacts at bottom of page. Please note that a fee may apply for the Sunday camp


U17/U18 Girls registration open; U17 & U18 Boys registration opens on Monday, February 21

Program Information

U17-U18F Fee: $150 + GST
U15 Fee: $150 (GST exempt for U15 age group)

Fee will not be adjusted for partial participation
A 2022-23 Basketball BC Athlete membership is required for participation.  The membership fee of $15 will be added to the registration if applicable.

Maximum number of participants: 72 per camp (boys) 

Camp (Friday and Saturday) participants receive:
  • Basketball BC Reversible jersey
  • opportunity to develop basketball skills and compete alongside the top players in BC
  • 7 to 9 hours of instruction, competition and assessment from Basketball BC High Performance Coaches including College, University and Provincial Team coaches
  • opportunity to be selected to take part in the Selection Camp (Sun) for Provincial Team
Selection Camp participants (Sunday only) receive:
  • opportunity to be selected to participate on a Basketball BC Provincial Team
  • 3 additional hours of instruction and competition
  • formal player evaluation from Basketball BC High Performance Coaching Staff

Registration Information

U15 SUPERCAMP REGISTRATION: ONLINE ONLY BY INVITATION (invitation with registration/payment information will be sent by email after the U15 Regional ID Camps are completed)


PLEASE REGISTER BEFORE THE DEADLINE AS REGISTRATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AT THE DOOR - In accordance with Basketball BC policy, all participants must be preregistered (for the correct tryout/clinic/program) to attend each specific Basketball BC tryout/clinic/program.  

PLEASE SELECT THE CORRECT REGISTRATION - A registration list for each specific tryout/clinic/program will be used to confirm the participants.  Only those individuals on each specific registration list will be allowed to participate.  Basketball BC is not responsible for any user errors which may result in an individual being excluded from participating in the tryout/clinic/program if the individual is not on the registration list.  

REGISTRATIONS ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE - If the individual is registered for the wrong tryout/clinic/program, the individual will need to be registered for the correct tryout/clinic/program before the stated registration deadline.  Please send a refund request for the original registration to Basketball BC.  An administration fee will be charged in accordance with our Refund Policy.

EMAIL CONFIRMATION - Upon successful completion of the registration (and payment), an email confirmation will be sent to the Account Holder (Parent if account is for a child).  The email may be sent to a "junk" folder depending on the email filter - please check that the junk folder is not set to "auto delete".  If you do not receive or cannot find the email in the junk folder, contact Basketball BC to confirm that the individual is registered for the tryout/clinic/program.
