Basketball BC is pleased to announce Matthew Goble is joining team, in the position of Coordinator, Officials.

Matt has refereed all over the country with longer stops in London, Ontario; Thunder Bay, Ontario; Halifax, Nova Scotia, and now in Vancouver, BC. He is currently working for Canada West (USPORTS), Pac West (Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association [CCCA]), GNAC (National Collegiate Athletic Association D2) and the local level with Greater Vancouver Basketball Officials Association.

Matt has refereed at 3 National Championships for U17 Women’s Nationals and CCAA Women and Men’s Nationals. He is passionate about assisting officials at all levels and growing the number of officials we have as the popularity of basketball increases all over the province.

Matt will continue collaborating with our official’s membership as we head into the second year since the officials transitioned into the structure of Basketball BC. BC is proud to lead the country in this development and Matt will work with the other provinces to assist their transitions.
