April 21st, 2023Basketball BC is pleased to announce the provincial team rosters for 2023

The U15 and U17 Girls Provincial Teams begin training in April with a practice and competition schedule that includes college and university scrimmages, and summer tournaments in Oregon and Victoria. The teams will represent our province at 2023 Canada Basketball National Championships in early August in Calgary. This Canada Basketball showcase tournament brings the top female high school players from across Canada to compete for a national title. It also serves as a platform for player identification and assessment for Canada Basketball’s National Junior (u18) and Cadette (u16) teams.

Following two highly competitive weekend Supercamps, Basketball BC's U17 and U15 Boy's Provincial Teams have been selected and are preparing to begin training for the 2023 Canada Basketball National Championships in Sherbrooke, Quebec. Let by UVIC Men's Assistant Coach James Blake (U17 Boys) and Douglas College Assistant Coach Aurel David (U15 Boys), both teams are looking to follow up a very successful 2022 summer but once again bring home multiple medals to British Columbia. The teams will train over three spring weekend mini-camps in May and June, before breaking for club team play in July. Following club play, players will reconvene for a final round of training during the final week of July prior to departing for Quebec.
