April 1st, 2021Basketball BC General Meeting
As announced on February 26, 2021, Basketball BC and the BC Basketball Officials Association announced their intent merge the operations for basketball officials’ development and recruitment into Basketball BC. To facilitate this transaction and to create the appropriate governance structure The Board of Directors of Basketball BC are proposing changes to its Bylaws.
TAKE NOTICE THAT a General Meeting of Basketball BC is scheduled for 12pm (noon), April 22, 2021. The meeting will take place by video conference. Members who are eligible to vote will be provided with the link the morning of the meeting.
To have a right to vote at this meeting, a voting member must have been a member in good standing 30 days prior to the date of this meeting. Members are asked to renew their membership to maintain their good standing by 5pm, Wednesday, April 7, 2021.

The following order of business will be observed at the General Meeting:
- Call to order
- Ascertainment of Quorum
- Approval of agenda
- Approval of the Bylaws
- Adjournment
- Approval of the Bylaws: As a special resolution that the bylaws of the Society be altered deleting the existing bylaws in their entirety to be replaced with the bylaws attached to the Notice of this meeting.
