March 29th, 2017Barb Robertson Passes Away

Basketball BC joins the basketball community is mourning the loss of a great player, coach and leader – Barb Robertson. Barb starred as a player for the UBC women’s team and competed internationally for Canada. After her playing career, she coached the SFU women’s team for 11 years and was a fighter for equality in sports – including financial aid and scholarships. Barb was inducted into the Basketball BC Hall of Fame in 2009. Basketball BC sends its very best wishes to Barb’s friends and family.
